ya Let’s talk about the sweater, shall we? I started with something basic for the shape and construction. The body is worked flat and the sleeves in rounds, all in double crochet stitch. Then added some details to make it pop! The lace motif kinda gives the effect of bell sleeves ( which I really love ) and the puff edging around the neckline, it looks so pretty!

Parlons de ce pull!  Je suis partie sur une base assez simple des brides crochetez en rangs pour le corps, et en tours pour les manches. Puis, j’ai ajouté quelques détailles comme  de la dentelle sur les manches, et une bordure sur l’encolure au point soufflé.

The yarn is very soft, light and hairy (it looks a bit like alpaga). You can choose another yarn with a similar texture and weight.

How to make it…

FRONT

Start with a foundation of 65 + 3 chains. The first 3 chains of each row count as the first dc.

Row 1: in the 4th ch, make 1 dc for every st across the row, turn. ( 66 dc)

Row 2 – 40: ch 3, work 1 dc in every st across the row, turn. (66 dc)

RIGHT Shoulder

Row 41: ch 3, make 1 dc in the next 18 sts, in the next 2 sts, dc 2 tog (1 dec), turn.

Row 42: ch 3, make 1 dc in every st across. ( 20 dc)

LEFT Shoulder

Count 21 sts from the end of the row and attach your yarn.

Row 41: ch 2 (doesn’t count as a st), 1 dc in every st across, turn.

Row 42: ch 3, 1 dc in every st across. ( 20 dc)

Comment le faire… 

DEVANT

Montez une chainette de 65 + 3 ma. ( Les 3 ma de chaque rang comptent comme la 1e br )

Rang 1 : à partir de la 4e ma, crochetez 1 br pour chaque maille à travers. ( = 66 br )

Rang 2 – 40 : 3 ma, 1 br pour chaque maille. ( 66 br )

ÉPAULE DROIT

Rang 41 : 3 ma, 1 br dans les prochaines 18 mailles,  puis 1 dim (2 br rabattues ensemble), tournez. ( 20 br )

Rang 42 : 3 ma, 1 br à travers. ( 20 br )

Coupez le fil.

ÉPAULE GAUCHE 

Attachez votre fil dans la 21e maille depuis l’autre côté du rang.

Rang 41 : 2 ma (ne compte pas comme une maille), 1 br pour chaque maille à travers le rang, tournez.

Rang 42: 3 ma, 1 br pour chaque maille. ( 20 br )

Coupez le fil.

BACK

Repeat the FRONT until Row 20. From here you will work first one half, decreasing 1 st for each row in one side to form the V neckline, then continue straight to make the shoulder line.

RIGHT Shoulder

Row 21 : ch 3, 1 dc in the next 31 sts, dc the next 2 sts together (1 dec), turn. ( 32 dc )

Row 22 : ch 2 (doesn’t count as a st), 1 dc in each st across the row, turn.  ( 31 dc )

Row 23 : ch 3, 1 dc in each st until the third from last, dc the last 2 sts together (1 dec), turn. ( 30 dc)

Row 24 – 33: Repeat row 22 and 23 until you have 20 dc.

Row 34 – 42: ch 3, 1 dc for each st across. ( 20 dc )

LEFT Shoulder 

Attach your yarn in the middle.

Row 21 : ch 2 (doesn’t count as a st), 1 dc in every st across. ( 32 dc )

Row 22 : ch 3, 1 dc in every st until the third from last, dc the last 2 sts tog (1 dec), turn. ( 31dc)

Row 23 : ch 2 (doesn’t count as a st), 1 dc in each st across the row, turn.  (30 dc)

Row 24 – 33 : Repeat row 22 and 23 until you have 20 dc.

Row 34 – 42 : ch 3, 1 dc for each st across. (20 dc)

ASSAMBLING

Put the FRONT and BACK right sides facing together, sew first the shoulders and sides leaving enough space for the armholes. You can try it on and check if it fits well.

I left about 14cm for a size M.  For a smaller size decrease 1 or 2 cm, for a bigger size increase 1 or 2 cm.

DOS 

Répétez les mêmes instructions que pour le devant jusqu’a le 20e rang.

A partir d’ici on commence a former le décolleté en V et on sépare la moitié du total des mailles. Donc, on commence d’un côté et on fait 1 dim par rang

ÉPAULE DROIT

Rang 21 : 3ma, 1 br dans les prochaines 30 mailles, puis 1 dim ( 2 br rabattues ensemble), tournez. ( 32 br)

Rang 22 : 3ma, 1 br à chaque maille, tournez. ( 31 br )

Rang 23 : 2 ma (ne comptent pas comme une maille), 1 br à chaque maille, tournez. ( 30 br )

Rang 24 – 33 : répéter les rangs 22 et 23, jusqu’à avoir un total de 20 br.

Rang 34 – 42 : 3ma, 1 br pour chaque maille. ( 20 br )

 ÉPAULE GAUCHE

Attachez le fil à la moitié du rang.

Rang 21 : 2 ma ( ne comptent pas comme une maille), 1 br dans chaque maille à travers le rang, tournez. ( 32 br )

Rang 22 : 3 ma, 1 br pour chaque maille, tournez. ( 31 br )

Rang 23 – 33 : répétez le rangs 21 et 22, jusqu’à avoir un total de 20 brides.

Rang 24 – 42 : 3 ma, 1 br par maille à travers le rang. ( 20 br )

ASSEMBLAGE

Posez les deux côtés droits, une face à l’autre. Faites une petite couture aux épaules, puis sur les côtés en laissant de la place pour les bras. Essayez-le et verifier que tout va bien.

Pour une taille M, j’ai laissé un space de 14 cm. 

Pour une taille S ou XS, quittez 1 – 2 cm

Pour une taille L ou XL, augmentez 1 – 2 cm

SLEEVES 

-Work in round–

Once you’ve tried it on and you know the body fits you well, you can start making the sleeves. Attach the yarn in the seam under your arm.

To finish each round make 1 sl st in the 3rd ch of the beginning.

Round 1 : ch 3, make 47 dc evenly around the armhole. ( 48 dc)

Round 2 : ch 3, 1 dc for every st. ( 48 dc )

Round 3 : ch 3, 1 dc for every st until the third last st, make 1 dec. ( 47 dc)

Round 4 – 5 : ch 3, 1 dc for every st. ( 47dc )

Round 6 – 24 : repeat from round 3 to 5, until you have a total of 40 dc.

Round 25 -26 : ch 3, 1 dc for each st. ( 40 dc )

— Remember: you need a total st number multiple of 10 —

LACE MOTIF 

Round 27 : 1 ch (doesn’t count as a st) 3 sc in the first 3 sts, skip 2, 5 dc in the same st, *skip 2 sts, 5 sc, skip 2 sts, 5 dc in the same st*, repeat from *to* twice, skip 2 sts, 2 sc, sl st in the first sc.

Round 28 : 1 ch (doesn’t count as a st) , 1 sc, 2 ch, skip 2 sts, (in each dc from the row bellow) make 3 dc tog + 2 ch in the next 5 sts, skip 2 sts, *1 sc, 2 ch, skip 2 sts, (in each dc from the row bellow) make 3 dc tog + 2 ch in the next 5 sts, skip 2 sts*, repeat from *to* twice. Close the round with a sl st in the first sc.

1 sp = 2 ch space from the round bellow

Round 29 : 3 ch (count as 1dc) 2 dc in the same first st, skip 1 sp, ( in the next 3 sp ) make 1 sc + 2ch, 1 sc in the next sp, skip 1 sp, *5 dc in the next sc ( round bellow ), skip 1 sp, ( in the next 3 sp ) make 1 sc + 2 ch each, 1 sc in the next sp, skip 1 sp*, repeat from *to* twice, 2 dc in the first st from the beg, close the round with a sl st in the 3rd ch.

Round 30 : 2 ch, 2 dc tog in the same (first) st, 2 ch, 3 dc tog + 2 ch in the next 2 dc (round bellow), skip 1 sp, 1 sc + 2 ch in the next sp, *skip 1 sp, in the next 5 dc (round bellow) make 3 dc tog + 2 ch in each st, skip 1 sp, 1 sc + 2 ch in the next sp *, repeat from *to* twice, skip 1 sp, 3 dc tog + 2ch in the next dc, (in the last st) 3 dc tog + 1 ch, to finish this round make 1 sc into the second ch from the beg. (This way you will start the next round in the middle of the ch space)

Round 31 : 1 ch (doesn’t count as a st) 1 sc + 2 ch into the first 2 sp, 1sc in the next sp, skip 1 sp, 5 dc in the next sc ( round bellow ), skip 1 sp, * ( in the next 3 sp ) make 1 sc + 2 ch in each sp, 1 sc in the next sp, skip 1 sp, 5 dc in the next sc ( round bellow ), skip 1 sp *, repeat from *to* twice. In the last sp make 1 sc + 2 ch, finish the round with a sl st into the first scand into the first space.

Round 32 :  1 ch (doesn’t count as a st), 1 sc in the same sp, 2 ch, skip 1 sp, in the next 5 dc (round bellow) make 3 dc tog + 2 ch in each st, skip 1 sp, *1 sc in the next sp, 2 ch , skip 1 sp, in the next 5 dc make 3 dc tog + 2 ch in each st, skip 1 sp*. Repeat from *to* twice. Finish the round with a sl st in the first sc.

Rounds 33 – 36 : Repeat from rounds 29 to 32.

Rounds 37 – 38 : Repeat from rounds 29 to 30.

Puff stitch – *yarn over, insert hook into the stitch pull the yarn through* ( 3 loops on your hook ). Repeat *this* twice in the same stitch, you should have 7 loops on your hook. Pull the yarn through the first 6 loops, yarn over and pull through the last two.

Round 39 : ch 1, *in the next space of 2 ch, make 1 sc, 2 ch, 1 puff st (in the same sc you just made)*, repeat from *to*. Finish with a sl st in the 1st ch, cut your yarn and hide in the ends with a needle.

— Repeat the same to make the other sleeve —

MANCHES 

— On crochète les manches en rond —

Attachez le fil sur la couture de l’aisselle. On finit chaque tour avec 1 mc sur la 3e ma du début.

Tour 1 : 3 ma, crochetez 47 br au tour de l’emmanchure. Essayez de bien repartir le mailles. ( 48 br )

Tour 2 : 3 ma, 1 br pour chaque maille. ( 48 br )

Tour 3 : 2 ma, 1 br pour chaque maille. ( 47 br )

Tour 4 – 5 :  3 ma, 1 br pour chaque maille. ( 47 br)

Tour 6 – 24 : répéter les tours 3 à 5. ( 40 br )

Tour 25 – 26 : 3 ma, 1 br à chaque maille. ( 40 br )

— Vous devez avoir un total des mailles multiple de 10 pour pouvoir réaliser le motif de la dentelle.—

MOTIF DENTELLE

Tour 27 : 3 ma, 2 br dans la même maille, *sauter 2 mailles, 5 ms, sauter 2 mailles, dans la maille suivante 5 br *, puis répéter deux fois dès * à *. Sauter deux mailles, 5ms, 2 br dans la premier maille, fermeznle tour avec 1mc au 3e ma.

Tour 28 : 2 ma, 2 br rab ensemble sur la même maille, 2 ma, dans les 2 mailles suivantes faites 3 br rab ensemble sur la même maille et 2 ma, *sauter 2 m, 1 ms, sauter 2 m, dans le 5 m suiv faites 3 br rab ensemble sur la même maille et 2 ma*, répéter 2 fois dès * à *. Sauter 2 m, 1 ms, sauter 2 m, dans les 2 m suiv faites 3 br rab ens sur la même maille et 2 ma, mc dans la 2e ma.

Espace: 2 ma du tour antérieur

Tour 29 : 1 mc dans l’espace (2ma), 3 ma, 1 ms et 2 ma dans l’espace suiv, *sauter 1 espace, dans la m suivante faites 5 br, 2 ma, sauter 1 espace, dans 4 spaces suivantes faites 1 ms et 2 ma*, répéter 2 fois * *. Sauter 1 espace, dans la m suiv 5 br, 2 ma, sauter 1 espace, dans le espace suiv 1 ms et 2 ma et dans le dernier espace 1 ms, finissez le tour avec 1 ms dans la 1e ma.

Tour 30 : 3 ma, sauter 1 esp, *[dans les 5 mailles suivantes faites 3 br rab ensemble sur la même maille et 2 ma, sauter 1 esp], 1 ms, 2 ma*, répéter * 2 fois *. Répéter [1fois], finissez le tour avec 1 mc dans la 1e ma.

Tour 31 – 38: répéter les rangs 29 et 28.

BORDURE

Point soufflé – faire * 1 jeté, piquez dans la maille et ramenez le fil * ( vous avez 3 boucles sur le crochet ). Répétez *ça* 2 fois dans la même maille, vous avez 7 boucles sur le crochet. Tirez le fil à travers le 6 premiers boucles, 1 jeté et ramenez le fil à travers les 2 dernières boucles.  

Tour 39 : 1 ma, puis dans chaque espace de 2ma faites 1ms, 2 ma et 1 point soufflé (sur la même ms). Finissez le tour avec 1 mc dans la 1e ma. Coupez et cachez le fil.

— Répétez le même dans l’autre manche.—

EDGING

NECKLINE

Attach the yarn in one of the seams, ch1 and make a first round of sc around the entire neckline, sl st in the first ch. For the second round, ch 1, make *1 sc and 1 puff st in the same sc you just did, skip 2 sts*,  repeat *this* all around. Finish with a sl st in the first ch, cut and hide the yarn left.

BOTTOM

I made a round of * 1sc 1 ch 1 sc in the same st, skip 1 st * and repeat *this* around the edge. If you prefer you can make a round of only 1 sc around.

FINITIONS

ENCOLURE

Attachez le fil dans sur la couture de l’épaule, 1ma, montez un premier tour de ms, 1 mc pour fermer. Faites 1 ma, 1 ms dans la 1e maille, *2 ma, 1 point soufflé sur la même ms, sauter 2 mailles, 1ms dans la maille suivante*. Répétez ** jusqu’à le dernier point soufflé du tour, finissez avec 1 mc dans la premier ma. Coupez et cachez le fil.

BAS DE CORPS

Attachez le fil sur le bord de la couture, crochetez 1 ma, *dans la maille suivante faites 1 ms 1ma et 1ms ensemble, sauter 1 maille*. Répétez dès * à * tout le tour du bas. Si vous préférez, vous pouvez faire un tour juste de ms comme finition. Finissez avec 1 mc dans la 1e ma, coupez et cachez le fil.
